STORY: GADH

"India has been a land of illustrations and written proses since immemorial times. Illustrated palm leaf manuscripts were a medium of expression which continued in painted art of Buddhist caves, Pichwais and numerous other illustrated artforms. Illustrations could be tangible to depict stories as in Kavar or intangible illustrations as in Dastangoi. 'Gadh' is an ode to this art of creating an imagery in heart and soul of the spectator to become part of the narrative. Each ensemble tributes to a poet, composer or a storyteller and attempts to capture the essence of prose onto the product.
